Welcome Back Friends!
Hey y’all!
Over the past several years I have tried, numerous times, to get this blog up and running. I’ve published and deleted. I’ve held on to this domain and restarted it from the ground up twice. But, somehow…somehow it always fizzles back out. It’s not for lack of desire. I have so many things I’d like to share and write about but that’s part of the problem. I have so many things to share! It’s like the eclectic writer’s version of analysis paralysis.
Where do I start?
What should I say?
How do I narrow my focus?
Is anyone even going to be interested?
Why should any of you listen to me anyway?
I finally realized there is no perfect place to start. It’s like anything really. If you try to wait until all of the stars align, you’ll never get off the ground.
So here’s what I’m going to do. I’m just going to dive in.
I’m going to work on cultivating and sharing valuable content, pulled from my own life. I’m going to get vulnerable. I’m going to share my struggles with a genetic condition that has graced me with chronic pain and anxiety. I’m going to share the pitfalls I experienced blindly trusting my doctors, simply because they are doctors. I’m going to give you insight into the journey I’m on to reclaim my power over my health. I’m going to share hope. I going to give testimony to the fact that freeing yourself from antidepressants is possible. I’m going to share with you the supplements (including links) and dietary changes that have supported my mind and body during my own antidepressant taper. I’m going to share healthy decompression and coping techniques that I’ve learned. I’m going to share the beneficial and cruelty free skin, hair and beauty products that I’m using to round out my self care. And lastly? I’m going to share day to day happenings and musings as they strike me.
I have so much to share with you, and sometimes it may seem scattered, but that’s to be expected from a blog called Eclectic Grace. Ultimately though, everything will come back to naturally supporting your health, beauty and wellness.
So welcome back! Grab your favorite beverage and settle in. I can’t wait to connect!
